Adzes by Jamie Sharp are wonderful tools for roughing out bowls, masks and canoes. Smaller adze can also be used to texture a surface and leave a very attractive finish quickly. A favorite tool of the northwest coast native American carvers, no tool box is complete without one, or several!

We make curved, lipped and straight adze. If you don't see what you want feel free to contact us and ask for one to be custom made to your specs.

All our adze come with a 4" rod embedded into the head to prevent it from ever splitting and are sharped with a 20 degree single bevel.
